El Pariente is this super cool Mexican market that sells meats and other Mexican items. If you are planning on cooking up an authentic Mexican meal, this is the place to go. Their meats are marinated to perfection and very difficult to replicate from home for us non-Mexicans. Your guests will be so impressed!
Salt Creek is a classic American grill. Start your meal with a martini from their extensive martini bar. They are fabulous, as are there other drinks and wine selection. Their White Russians are killer. After your cocktail, move on to an appetizer such as stuffed jumbo shrimp, Salt Creek sliders (mini-burgers), artichoke spinach dip, calamari, and more. Then move on to one of their salads. The smoked turkey salad or seared ahi salad is a meal in itself. Second to last is the entree. Try a burger, steak, fish, other seafood, and specials. You can order a side to share, like garlic fries, spinach, asparagus, or garlic mashed potatoes. Last but not least is dessert. Try their famous chocolate souffle. It is divine.
Java Joe On the Go is the perfect place to get, well, a cup of joe on the go. Their coffee is brewed fresh daily, and it's a good place to get that extra boost before the workday begins, or perhaps that boost to beat the mid day slump. They also serve popular coffee beverages, like lattes and mochas.
Las Rocas is a charming Mexican restaurant in Castaic. This is a great family joint, or a place to get away with friends and drink fabulous margaritas. They even have a tequila bar for us tequila lovers, or those crazy Friday nights. The menu offers up all the classics, like tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and more. And their ice cold margaritas go like peas in a pod with their chips and salsa. This is a local favorite for Castaic residents, and it just might become your favorite local Mexican joint too.

Macaroni Grill is a nationwide restaurant serving Italian dishes. Their quality and service is always reliable, and their menu is extensive. They also serve great freshly baked rosemary rolls at your table. And they have a cozy little bar area where you can grab some nice beers on tap, or a well priced glass of wine while you wait for a table. The dining room is spacious and there are no booths. This can either be good or bad depending how you like to dine. The good thing is, the wait is never too long as they have so many tables. Try their "make your own pasta" menu; they can cook you up a mean batch of pasta (spicey arribiata sauce with garlic, bacon and buffalo mozzarella...mmmm).
