If you have a birthday, they'll make it special. You can watch the chefs entertain and cook for you at the teppan tables. They also have regular dining and a sushi bar. The food is excellent and I love their white dipping sauce. The huge fish pond out front alone is something to see. I've been to some outside the valley and I'm so glad they have one in Santa Clarita too.

If I'm in a rush for lunch, I get to go here. The food is okay. We dined in one evening and as we were eating the staff decided to mop up for the night and it was very annoying to eat while watching them mop and smelling chlorine in dining area. Not waiting for the restaurant to close before doing this was very poor service & common sense.

Our favorite sushi restaurant went out of business :(
So we have been trying many around the SC Valley. Akasaki is our new favorite. The food was delicious & fresh. The spicy mayo sauce isn't super spicy either. They are more expensive than our previous favorite, but it still seems pretty comparable to other places.
They have a board where customers have made up their own entree's and you can order them too - very clever.
They're located in the Stater Bros mall area. It can get pretty busy & crowded on weekends.

They really are Santa Clarita's best kept sushi secret! The Sushi is EXCELLENT!!! so fresh all the time! They also lowered the price of their rolls so you can now go have sushi, have sake, beer and still have money left over after you pay the bill. They don't have live music, but the game is always on. Great sushi place...

The teppanyaki is the best for the price in Santa Clarita. The cooks put on a wonderful show. The sushi bar is wonderfully fresh and inviting. You can sit next the sushi bar and order from a main menu or from the bar. They also have a great lounge with some seating and a very nice bar. Overall, a great p[lace to dine!

I love sushi and if your like me and you like variety this is the place for you. They have all the best fish made with some of the best sauces cone in different ways. Nothing at Kisho really has the same taste as any of the other sushi places. They also just added a new Lounge room called the Budha Lounge. It has a beautiful, large and elegant bar surrounded by some candle light and moderm music. There are a number of tv's in the room as well making for a great night with good entertainment. I have yet to find a place I like better then Kisho. I recommend the Red Dragon plate and the Hokiado Scallops.

The atmosphere is nice. It is a small place with about 10 tables and one half circle sushi bar. It is the typical sushi style restaurant. They have the same fish plates as most places and serve it relatively the same. Good food but not one of my favorites. I would rather go to Kisho or Kabuki.
