Description

Don Cuco is like "old reliable" when it comes to Mexican food in Santa Clarita.  They've been in the valley for years, and for good reason.  They serve up authentic Mexican dishes, and some with a twist, like their Mexican dragon.  It has all the veggies of a Chinese stir fry, but all the spice of your favorite Mexican chicken dish, all served with warm homemade tortillas.  That's right, homemade tortillas, and they are gooood.  And their chips are warm and fresh served with super tasty salsa. Try your meal with a margarita.  Those are kickn'!

Not the best, but still great!

I have been going here for years now. If you are getting take away, plan on checking your order right there before you leave! If you are dining in, I have always found it to be a pleasant experience. The food is average Mexican fair; similar to the Acapulco chain (not 5 start Mexican cuisine). The drinks are good and they have a nice bar that can get pretty packed on a Friday night or on a big game. Good all around place to get a quick bite to eat…and a large Dos Equis Dark…from the tap…in a frozen glass...ummmmm.

SHRIMP LOVERS!!!!!!

If you're a shrimp lovers like I am I DO NOT recommend this restaurant for you. I ordered a plate of 15.50 and they only gave me 2 shrimps, then I asked if I could buy an extra order and they told me that yes, but it would cost me $2.00 each additional shrimp. Shut not even in the most expensive markets you'll get that crazy price
