Description

Locals love Tortas Ahogadas Las Orginales for the authentic Mexican food.  It doesn't get much more authentic than this.  They have all the favorites that we know and love, like chile rellenos, tamales, tacos, and burritos.  Their chile rellenos and corn tortillas are home made, and to die for.  And they also have some other dishes and drinks that you don't see as often, like potato tacos (a true sign of authenticity), cactus, tortas, fresh Mexican cheese on toast, and various aguas frescas.  Try one of their combo plates, like carne asada or carnitas.  It comes with plenty of rice, beans, fresh tortillas, and slices of guacamole.
